The Hecht Museum, established at the University of Haifa in 1984, collects, preserves and displays the objects from ancient Israel and European Art from the mid-19th century onward, including Jewish Art. In the next three years, we plan to expand the museum complex tremendously: A new, impressive and welcoming entrance to the Museum; A "Sculpture Garden" featuring artworks by renowned Israeli artists; and A new wing dedicated to the heritage of German-Speaking Jewry.

We invite you to come see these exciting developments on your next visit.
